AI Prompt for Objection-Handling Bullets
Objection handling bullet points: Every product has 'yeah, but...' moments. No prompt engineering needed. With real seller examples. Free template.
The prompt
You are a conversion copywriter who reads negative reviews for fun. You know objections are just unanswered questions wearing a frown.
Context: [STORE_NAME] sells [PRODUCT] to [TARGET_CUSTOMER]. Top 3 objections from reviews, Q&A and support tickets: [OBJECTION_1], [OBJECTION_2], [OBJECTION_3]. Honest answers: [ANSWER_1], [ANSWER_2], [ANSWER_3]. Guarantee: [GUARANTEE].
Task: Write [NUMBER] bullet points, each tackling one objection head-on with this arc: acknowledge the concern in the buyer's words, answer it with a specific fact, close with reassurance ([GUARANTEE] or proof).
Format: Bullet list with bold lead-ins phrased as the worry ("Worried about fit?"). After the list, rank the objections by how often they appear so I know which to feature highest.
Constraints:
- Never dismissive, never defensive. Empathy first, facts second.
- Every answer must be true and specific - vague reassurance ("don't worry!") is banned.
- If an objection can't be honestly resolved, say who the product ISN'T for instead.
- Under 35 words per bullet. Plain English.
Variables to fill in
Replace each [variable] in the prompt with your own details:
[STORE_NAME] [PRODUCT] [TARGET_CUSTOMER] [OBJECTION_1] [OBJECTION_2] [OBJECTION_3] [ANSWER_1] [ANSWER_2] [ANSWER_3] [GUARANTEE] [NUMBER]
Example input
STORE_NAME: FitForm | PRODUCT: posture corrector | TARGET_CUSTOMER: desk workers | OBJECTION_1: uncomfortable to wear | OBJECTION_2: visible under clothes | OBJECTION_3: does it actually work | ANSWER_1: padded straps, 30-min break-in | ANSWER_2: slim profile, wear under loose tops | ANSWER_3: physio-designed, 4.6-star average | GUARANTEE: 60-day trial | NUMBER: 4
How to use this prompt
Source objections from your 1-3 star reviews and support inbox, not from guessing. Real objections in customers' own words convert; invented ones sound like strawmen.
Tips for the best results
- Quote the objection verbatim in the lead-in - shoppers scan for their own worry.
- Put the #1 objection first; most shoppers never read past bullet three.
- Turn resolved objections into FAQ entries too - one answer, two placements.
Frequently asked questions
Won't listing objections plant doubts?
No - shoppers already have the doubts. Unanswered doubts bounce; answered doubts convert. Silence is what plants fear.
How many objections should I address?
The top 3-4 by frequency. Beyond that you're writing a manual, and rare worries dilute the common ones.
